The Albuquerque Museum Expansion & Renovation Phase I

The Albuquerque Museum Expansion and Renovation included new public areas, such as a grand lobby and entrance, a special events facility, a traveling exhibit gallery, a gift shop, cafe, and a kitchen. Additional new public areas included an outdoor performance space, a classroom, a new viewing deck that overlooks the sculpture garden, and new sculptural landscaping elements. The original museum was designed by nationally renowned architect Antoine Predock and was built by Bradbury Stamm in 1978.
