UNM Centennial Engineering Center

Located in the heart of UNM’s engineering quadrant, the 147,445 square foot Centennial Engineering Center was planned and designed as an interdisciplinary instructional and research facility. The new Center houses the Departments of Chemical, Biomedical, Civil, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, and Computer Science. The project was complicated by the constrained site with two levels below grade with immediately adjacent existing buildings. Throughout construction, students were provided with tours and open communication was maintained with the engineering school in general.
