The project involved the complete demolition and reconstruction of the primary entrance of CNM’s main campus, as well as a rebranding signage package installed throughout all buildings. The Tech Loop consisted of an extensive duct bank system and a fiber optic loop which connects all buildings on campus. Additional features included the addition of a pedestrian bridge, iconoclastic sculptural signage, wellness paths and stations. Significant challenges were encountered with running the new fiber optic lines throughout the campus. The Bradbury Stamm Teams, Subcontractor and Designer implemented a directional boring process connected by a series of manholes - that simplified running the fiber optic lines and reduced the overall cost and impact of the project on an active campus.
