The Laguna Elementary school is a design-build replacement elementary school designed to serve 186 students. The facility includes multiple educational classrooms, administration, library, physical education, food services dining, support services and a photovoltaic array. The site work includes parking, landscaping, site lighting, playground recreation areas, basketball courts, multi-purpose field with seating, plaza, cultural and reading patios, and fitness trail. A separate support services area will include maintenance and a bus/vehicle storage lot. The project was designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
