The George I. Sanchez Collaborative Community School was designed to create a collaborative learning environment for 1,300 students. The building features a cafeteria, gymnasium, classrooms, and administrative spaces. Although the project was only required to meet LEED Silver standards, it achieved LEED Gold certification.
“The District chose Bradbury Stamm Construction to construct our first prototype preK-8 facility over a very aggressive timetable and with much anticipation + expectation. The team assigned to tackle this demanding undertaking with us and our bevy of consultants + open-contractors could not have been more fitting: seasoned, savvy, drive, professionals... Their team planned, orchestrated + managed the necessary tasks and day-to-day challenges skillfully. They worked with us in coordinating our open-end contractors: our landscapers, our public work orders, the playgrounds. They accommodated our delivery of furniture even while spaces are still being finished. They have been quick to respond to crisis and emergencies. In short, they are exemplars of teamwork + collaboration that mirror the quality + ethos of BSC’s management team.
On this project, they have delivered. Ahead of schedule. ”
