Albuquerque Civic Plaza Renovation

Originally built by Bradbury Stamm in 1974 and renovated again in the 1990s, the Albuquerque Civic Plaza needed a major update to match the newly remodeled Albuquerque Convention Center. The project involved the removal of a large fountain and the addition of an amphitheater, elevated platforms, a children's playground, and a new splash park. The splash park, which can be controlled using a smartphone, includes elaborate light displays within acrylic lightboxes. The project also features the addition of the Al Hurricane Pavilion, which has a large video display, theatrical lighting, and sound speakers for large outdoor concerts and events.
