The new Cottonwood Elementary School combines and replaces the Joe Stanley Smith and Craft Elementary School facilities to house a total of 627 students attending grades 1-5. The facility includes 32 general classrooms, three special education classrooms, two innovation labs, a music room, library, reading room, gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen, and an administration wing. Outdoors, there is a play field, two basketball courts, three playground areas, and three outdoor classroom courtyard spaces.
