The Joe Harris Elementary School is a 69,000 sq. ft. ground-up school located on a 32-acre property. The school houses a gymnasium, cafeteria, and media center, as well as a new playground area, sports track, and athletic field. As part of this project's Right-of-Way (ROW) requirements, improvements were made to 12th St. and 21st St. along with utility extensions. Registered with the certification goal of LEED Silver®.
