Jim King

Chairman of the Board

Jim joined Bradbury Stamm in 1972, became an owner in 1979 and ran the daily operations of Bradbury Stamm for more than 30 years. Today he continues to serve as Chairman of the company, an important strategic and advisory role.

Under Jim's leadership the company grew and expanded, he also reinforced its reputation in the construction industry as a company that stands for integrity, quality and honesty. During his tenure the company worked in more than 11 states, adjusted with the market into water/wastewater and multi-unit residential specializations, was an innovator with respect to hiring women in management roles, and laid the strong groundwork for how the company operates today.

Jim was the recipient of the 2019 ENR Southwest Legacy Award.

“Every company can build a building but not every company does it exactly the same way. Our company has a simple structure, really a collaborative sort of approach to building things that I think works very well. We don't have a hierarchy so to speak and everyone is empowered to do their jobs.”
