The new White Rock Library includes a multi-purpose room with state-of-the-art projection technology, group study areas, a children's storytelling area, and a periodicals room. The spacious periodicals room has a fireplace, a teen area, computer area, comfortable reading areas, and shelving to accommodate the projected collection growth for the next 20 years. The youth activity center was upgraded with a new roof and an updated HVAC system. The exterior was clad with a new EIFS system for a complete facelift, vastly increasing energy performance. The youth activity center has a multi-purpose room, game room, a generous kitchen with a range and an oven, and a quiet study room. The project is LEED Silver®.
